Partnerships

The rooms our partnerships opened.

The Media Tribe has never trained in isolation. These are the institutions, festivals and companies we have worked with, and what each one meant for the students who walked through the door.

First edition, put up quickly so the conversation can start. Photographs are low-resolution stand-ins from the archive and will be replaced; sections marked coming are being written.

Rikskonsertene (Concerts Norway), now Kulturtanken

2011 to 2017 · Memorandum of Understanding signed in Oslo, 20 August 2015

The Media Tribe was one of four key partners in India to Concerts Norway, the Norwegian government's music agency, under a Music Cooperation memorandum signed in Oslo by Tom Gravlie, Director of its International Department, and Ashish Manchanda, supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Embassy in New Delhi. Alongside it, Musikkutstyrsordningen (the Norwegian music-equipment scheme) partnered on live-sound training from 2016 and administered the student festival internships.

Guests from Norway in the past have included engineers who taught at the Mumbai studio, TMT delivered the Rikskonsertene keynote in January 2016, and the cooperation is the reason four Media Tribe students worked festivals in Norway.
